Hello Beautiful People!

Thanks for stopping by! A little bit about me -- I have been banging on the drums since I was 8 years old. It was always my dream to play the drums on stage, and that is what I’ve done since I was 16 years old. It’s been an honor to play music for people all over the world and live out my passion! 

​

When COVID hit, I had to reorganize life, as many of us have. Tour life had taken a short break. Although I did miss those shows, I am also grateful for the time I had to get creative. I started playing for Michael Franti and Spearhead 22 years ago, and before that I played with Inka Inka, the Mandators, and many others. For some of those years, I was running hard around the world playing some 200 shows a year!

A summer at home and some vacation time was a blessing. I've had some incredible exposure to some of the greats, spending time in the studio with Mickey Thomas of Jefferson Starship, Babatunde Olatunjii, bluegrass greatest and Grammy-award winner Peter Rowan.

I took up some ideas I’ve had over the years and started giving hand drum and trap drum lessons A whole year of connecting with people, teaching and learning from my online and offline students. I feel blessed. The empty agenda also gave me the opportunity to create my new album One Accord. Please check it out in my web shop or on your favorite music channels. And now, I’m happy to be back out on the road with Michael Franti & Spearhead and on my own with my acoustic Backyard sessions, ready to meet and greet you, and watch you dance and sing to your favorite tunes.
